The real estate market is showing positive signs of growth and stability. This week we're focusing on the inventory side of things, and we're pleased to report that the overall inventory now sitting at 2261 is right around the 5-year average of inventory, which is something we haven't seen in the last 2 years, which is a positive sign for home buyers but how is it for home sellers?. While we're starting to see more inventory come up, it hasn't necessarily led to a drop in prices. However, the supply side of the component is providing more options for home buyers, and we're seeing a bit of a mixed bag in terms of pricing. Some properties that are well-priced seem to hit the market at just the right time and sell quickly, while others that miss the mark in terms of price seem to sit. Buyers are willing to be a bit patient until the price, product, and timing are in alignment with the home. This isn't a bad thing, as it means sellers have the opportunity to maximize their profit and not leave money on the table.
